INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY 682 Co-Oximeter

INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY 680.jpg

Instrumentation Laboratory  (IL) asked Robert DeFelice & Associates (RDA) to create a sleek, upscale look and feel for its newest 682 co-oximeter blood analyzer.

RDA designed the 682 around the syringe insertion module on the front, above the sample and cleaning bottles.  It was obvious that this prominent feature should integrate with the technician's GUI, also designed by RDA, and LCD.  Further, the front includes a convenient door for easy access to peristaltic pumps, spaghetti tubing and other functional components.

RDA provided a complete manufacturing data package for the structural foam molded front bezel, internal metal frame and packaging of internal components, and sheet metal rear cover.

Note: RDA was selected by IL after paid competition with two other industrial design firms.
